We are excited to welcome Lorien to RMM's Wānaka studio as a landscape designer. Lorien brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for horticulture and landscape design.

Experience in Queenstown
Since 2021, Lorien has been honing her skills in Queenstown after completing her Certificate in Horticulture in Landscape Design. Her practical experience in the field has equipped her with a robust understanding of the ecological relationships between plants and Otago’s diverse environment.

Design Philosophy
Lorien’s designs are guided by her extensive horticultural knowledge, ensuring they are not only visually appealing but also sustainable and successful. She values simplicity and flow in landscape architecture, working harmoniously with the landform to create beautiful and functional landscapes.

Passion for the Outdoors
Outside of her professional life, Lorien enjoys the thrill of paragliding, taking in the stunning bird’s eye view of the Southern Alps. Her love for mountain activities complements her connection to the natural environment.
