Apr 25, 2022
RMM is excited to announce Tim Jones as the new team lead for our Tāmaki Makaurau studio, bringing over a decade of invaluable experience in Landscape Architectural consultancy to the role. Tim takes over from Ben Taylor, who has transitioned to our Christchurch studio.
With a strong focus on sustainability and community engagement, Tim has dedicated his career to collaborating with clients and communities to create environments that enhance quality of life while promoting sustainable outcomes. His portfolio spans a diverse range of projects across the Auckland Region, including large-scale infrastructure developments such as rail and road projects, cycleways, public open spaces, streetscapes, as well as smaller-scale reserve and play space enhancements.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tim's passion for sustainability extends to his personal life. Outside of work, he dedicates his time to his rural smallholding, where he has been personally building his home over the past five years. Tim also enjoys various nature-based activities such as fishing, spearfishing, and swimming with his children in and around the Hauraki Gulf.
Tim's expertise, coupled with his deep-rooted commitment to sustainable design and community well-being, perfectly aligns with RMM's ethos. We are confident that Tim will bring invaluable leadership and creativity to our Auckland team, driving forward our intention to create innovative and sustainable landscapes.
Please join us in welcoming Tim to the RMM team. We are excited about the contributions he will make as we continue to innovate and deliver exceptional landscape solutions across Tāmaki Makaurau and the wider motu.
