After several years with RMM, Ruby returns to the team following a chapter in the mental health and wellbeing sector and a two-month adventure through Europe. Bringing five years of landscape architecture experience and a people-first approach, she's excited to jump back into her passion for designing places that enrich everyday life.

Ruby has worked across a wide variety of projects, including residential developments, landscape assessments, ecological and amenity projects, cultural and religious sites, and retirement villages. While she enjoys the diversity of the profession, she particularly enjoys residential design, where she can work closely alongside clients to understand what matters most to them and create spaces that feel uniquely theirs. Building strong relationships and bringing clients along on the design journey is one of her favourite parts of the job.

Ruby is an advocate for lifelong learning and is always looking for new ways to grow both personally and professionally. Her time working in the wellbeing space has further strengthened her belief that thoughtfully designed environments can have a meaningful impact on how people feel, connect, and live.

Outside the office, Ruby's creativity takes a slightly different form. She enjoys hobby writing and illustrating children's stories inspired by New Zealand's native flora and fauna, often weaving in themes of wellbeing and resilience. When she's not sketching fantastical worlds, you'll likely find her lifting weights at the gym, swimming laps, or exploring Canterbury's walking trails.
