Tim Jones joined RMM Landscape Architects in early 2022, bringing over a decade of experience in landscape architectural consultancy, with a strong focus on the Auckland region. As the lead of the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Studio, Tim is dedicated to guiding the team in delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions that meet the needs of clients and communities alike.

Tim's professional philosophy centres around collaboration and a hands-on approach to ensure projects are not only designed but also successfully constructed. His extensive experience spans a wide range of project types, from large-scale infrastructure projects such as rail and road developments and cycleways to public open spaces, streetscapes, and smaller reserve and playspace improvements. His ability to work closely with various disciplines and stakeholders has led to the successful completion of numerous acclaimed projects.

Passionate about creating sustainable and enduring environments, Tim excels in working with clients and communities to develop spaces that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally responsible. Outside of his professional pursuits, Tim enjoys spending time on his hobby farm, where he is actively involved in building his own home. His love for the outdoors extends to the northern Hauraki Gulf, where he can often be found fishing, spearfishing, or enjoying water activities with his children.
