Russell joined the RMM Auckland team in June 2021 after 5 years experience with a multidisciplinary consulting firm. He has a passion for New Zealand landscapes, innovative design and construction that capitalises on technology, new solutions and efficiencies through smarter processes.
Russell has experience from a range of lead and supporting project roles from inception, masterplanning and feasibility through to design, delivery and construction in a wide range of areas, including parks and open space, play spaces, motorways and roading infrastructure, retail malls, residential development, streetscapes and major rail infrastructure. These skills are supplemented with experience in landscape construction, design/build of nature-play playgrounds, and hands-on horticultural and amenity gardening experience.
Outside of work, Russell enjoys road tripping north, camping, fishing, live music and a DIY project.
