As the head of the Nelson studio, Rory has been instrumental in establishing and leading the studio to new heights. His career, spanning over three decades, includes 24 years of professional practice based in Nelson.
Rory's diverse portfolio features a wide range of projects across Christchurch, Queenstown, and various locations throughout the North and South Islands. Prior to his tenure in Nelson, Rory served as the principal landscape architect for the City of Cape Town. During his time in Cape Town, he was actively involved in several key urban projects that were part of the city's 2004 Olympic Bid, showcasing his ability to work on high-profile and impactful urban designs.
