Rory joined RMM in April 2022 establishing and leading the Nelson studio. He has been working as a Landscape Architect for over 30 years and based in Nelson for the last 24.
Over his career, Rory has worked on a wide range of projects in Christchurch, Queenstown and throughout the North and South Islands as principle of Rory Langbridge Landscape Architects. Before settling in Nelson he was principal landscape architect for the City of Cape Town. Rory was also involved with a number of key urban projects that formed part of Cape Town’s 2004 Olympic Bid.
Having practiced as a sole practitioner, Rory’s expertise extends across the full range of site planning and detail design and extends through to the preparation of landscape and visual assessments. Rory particularly enjoys working within a multi-disciplinary team environment and is known for working constructively within a challenging context.
