Grace Guo joined RMM Landscape Architects in 2023 as a graduate landscape architect, bringing with her a robust foundation from her previous experience at a multidisciplinary firm.

Following her graduation with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University, Grace spent 1.5 years honing her skills in various aspects of landscape architecture. Her final year project, which focused on developing a car-free community for the aging population in Halswell, showcased her innovative approach to sustainable design and community planning.

Grace's professional journey has exposed her to a wide range of landscape architecture projects. She has been actively involved in subdivision development, navigating the entire process from conceptual stages to construction. This hands-on experience has deepened her understanding of how sustainable landscape design can enhance land development projects. Her keen interest in landscape assessment and urban design drives her to continuously explore new possibilities and solutions in these fields at RMM.

At RMM, Grace is excited to further her expertise and contribute to projects that prioritize sustainability and community well-being. Her enthusiasm for landscape architecture is matched by her dedication to creating spaces that are not only functional but also enhance the quality of life for their users.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Grace enjoys exploring the vibrant café culture in and around Christchurch, often accompanied by her beloved dog. Her adventures around Aotearoa with her furry companion reflect her love for the natural environment and her commitment to discovering new inspirations for her work. Grace's blend of creativity, practical experience, and passion for sustainable design makes her a valuable member of the RMM team.
