Ben Bellamy joined RMM Landscape Architects in 2013 and has accrued over a decade of practical experience in landscape architecture with the firm.

With a passion for being part of a vibrant and creative team, Ben is known for his positive attitude, respectfulness, and dedication. His energetic commitment to all his projects ensures that each one benefits from his focused and enthusiastic approach.

Ben has a keen interest in landscape design and its multifaceted impact on biophysical, cultural, and social environments. His experience spans a wide range of project types, including residential developments, medium-density housing, commercial projects, urban streetscapes, reserves, playgrounds, and schools. Regardless of the project's scale, Ben is dedicated to telling the story of a place through a deep understanding of the unique layers that define it.

Collaboration is at the heart of Ben's approach. He thrives in team environments, working closely with colleagues to achieve common goals. His excellent communication and relational skills are key to his collaborative success, enabling him to build strong relationships with both team members and clients. Ben combines creative thinking with a practical awareness of the associated technicalities, making him adept at navigating the complexities of landscape architecture. He is a registered member of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA) and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Canterbury Westland branch.
