Ruby Collins

Landscape Architect
BLA (Hons)
Ōtautahi Christchurch
Ruby joined the RMM Christchurch team in 2021 as a graduate landscape architect after completing her BLA at Lincoln University in 2020. Her final year project integrated cultural narratives from mana whenua and explored learn-through-play and place-based education theories for a proposed new school in Pigeon Bay.
Ruby’s first years as a landscape architect have sparked a keen interest in tikanga and te reo Māori, accessible play spaces, residential design and celebrating the outstanding native flora and fauna of New Zealand. She appreciates the broad spectrum of projects and clients at RMM and enjoys seeing projects from concept through to construction.
Outside of work, Ruby enjoys photography, diving on Banks Peninsula, hiking, and of course getting into the garden.
